Chocolate Hummus with Cinnamon Sugar Tortillas

Tortillas are no longer just for tacos and burritos! Turn premade tortillas into sweet, crunchy, cinnamon tortilla chips and dip them into a smooth, thick, chocolate peanut butter hummus made with Evolved Chocolate. It tastes so indulgent, yet each serving of hummus has 7 grams of protein that will keep you full throughout the day!

For the Chocolate Hummus

  • One 14-ounce can chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons almond milk
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Evolved Chocolate Cashew Milk Chocolate bar melted

For the Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

  • 1 package tortillas we used Siete Cassava Flour Tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon


For the Chocolate Hummus

  • In a food processor, add ingredients in the order they are written and then blend until a smooth consistency is reached. You may need to scrape the sides down in between blending. 
  • Empty into a bowl. Cover and place in the fridge until needed.

For the Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

  • Preheat oven to 400℉
  • Take 4 Siete tortillas and cut into eighths, like a pizza
  • Place sliced tortillas into a bowl and add in the coconut oil, cinnamon, and coconut sugar. 
  • Toss gently until well combined.
  • Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. If you want crunchier chips, bake for an additional 5 minutes. 
  • Let the chips cool and then enjoy with the hummus.


Difficulty Level: Easy
  • Can use any nut butter in place of peanut butter
  • Can use any Evolved Chocolate bar in place of Cashew Milk 
  • Can use any non dairy milk in place of almond milk or use dairy-based milk
  • Can use honey in place of coconut sugar but recipe won’t be vegan anymore 
  • Can use any brand of tortillas in place of Siete tortillas
